After my little freak out last night, I pulled myself together and got some work done. It felt good. Calmed my nerves.
I stayed up way to late, and by the time I woke up, I couldn’t muster the strength to walk to school. So, I set up shop on my dining room table and got started with the Neuroanatomy party.
Dear Neuro, you’re ruining my life. If you take my summer from me, I’ll have to get violent.
But you see, I’ve got the itis. The medschoolitis. The isitspringbreakyetitis. I hear it’s extremely common in my cohort. There’s no known prevention, and no cure, but it is highly contagious. Treatment of symptoms may include excessive caffeine, bargaining and loud angsty music. Prognosis is fair, depending on preexisting conditions, such as self doubt and apathy.
I can do this. I can do this. I can do this.
But maybe I’ll make a pot of coffee first.
