Today, I will not blow my whistle. I will not tell anyone to get off the rope. I will not be strapped onto a backboard.
This morning, I am heading to Tulsa for several meetings – read interviews – with people from the National AIDS fund. It’s finally happening! I’m finally doing something that might be important, yeah?
Mom left the house this morning and told me to “ask questions.” Right. I get that a lot. I’m not a question asker. Never have been. I know people who are. I admire people who can simultaneously engage and form questions. I have to throw myself wholly into one or the other. I haven’t figured out another way to function.
